Fibercurious was created after realizing that there are very few free resources on the internet with explicit instructions for how to make fiber art projects. For many resources out there, there is a lack of documented results – some sources just let you know what they did and not what they achieved! I find this very frustrating, it is hard enough to find instructions, but who wants to follow them if they don’t know what the end result is? Not me.
So here it is, a library of free tutorials and other valuable information on fiber arts and crafts with a detailed documented process and results.
I have designed fibercurious for the fiber crafting hobbyist interested in learning new skills, techniques, and valuable information so you can keep improving and having fun with this amazingly addictive and creative hobby.
I’ve included many free felting tutorials; how to wet felt for the beginner, resist felting techniques, wet felting 3D objects, how to make a felted vessel, felting on a ball, cobweb felting techniques, and more. I also have reviews for felting products such as felting mats and felting hand tools. If you are interested in learning to fix a hole in your felt or pick up some felting tips and tricks, check out my Interest topics page.
I hope fibercurious has all you need and more. Thank you visiting and come back soon.
